Gordon’s free student shuttle is back! Whether it’s free trips to the local malls, drop-offs at the T for a quick journey into Boston, or a caffeine refuel at every Gordon student’s favorite little art deco coffee shop, Atomic Cafe, the shuttle offers students plenty of ways to enjoy the local region.
Gordon’s campus shuttle stop is located in the A. J. Gordon Memorial Chapel parking lot, with service to Endicott College, the artist district of downtown Beverly, the MBTA’s Beverly Depot train station, the North Shore Shopping Center in Peabody and the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers.
Seating up to 30 passengers, the shuttle features on-board Wi-Fi, a bathroom and handicap accessibility. The service also provides this free transportation for friends and family visiting or staying the weekend on campus. If you have a sibling visiting and you want to take them to one of Cabot Street’s many cafes or restaurants, they will be able to ride the shuttle free of charge with the accompanying student’s ID card.
Though the shuttle still operates on campus Thursdays through Sundays, some additional pickups have been added since last year’s pilot. Scheduling and shuttle stop locations are available for viewing on the Gordon College website, or tune into the shuttle’s GPS tracking to view the moving vehicle’s general location.
The shuttle is a community partnership between Gordon College, Endicott College and Montserrat College.
