Fellowship of the Bracelets

Students Jordan Frank, Mary Frediani and Alexis Rao, along with eight other students, will soon be traveling to Uganda on a Gordon Summer Missions Program (SMP). The students will be working with a church and school near the capital of Kampala, and then moving to a rural village where they will be working with adults living with AIDS.

To help raise money for their outreach and share the story of people in Uganda, the students made 200 bracelets and 50 earrings, and set up a small retail table in the Lane Student Center today. The children in Uganda they meet along the way will receive matching pieces as “a representation of prayer for hope in Uganda” from the students, faculty and staff at Gordon.
