Share Your Photos, Help Document Gordon's History

Recently, Dr. Myron Schirer-Suter, director of the library, alerted Gordon's campus to the college's participation in the Mass. Memories Road Show on the Jenks Library Blog.

"The Mass. Memories Road Show is a state-wide digital humanities project that documents Massachusetts history through photographs and stories. Gordon College is joining the road show project to capture images that document the history of Gordon College.
Want to participate? Bring two or three photos of life at Gordon College to Homecoming. They can be old or new, formal or informal snapshots. We'll scan the photos and immediately return them to you and then ask you to share a 3-4 minute story about your photographs on camera and take a “keepsake photo” to document your participation in the event. Scanning will be done in the Jenks Library from 1:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m. on Saturday October 10.
Can't make it to the event? Share your photos online through our pilot project on the photo sharing website Flickr, http://www.flickr.com/photos/jenkslibrary."
