He's Got the Whole World in His Hands

Five students from all parts of the globe spoke during chapel, broadening their fellow students’ perspectives on how those crossing cultures may feel. The five students—three from Hungary, Taiwan and Zimbabwe, one from Dorchester, and another who studied abroad in Ugand—shared the challenge of knowing what to call home. “It takes a long time to make a place home,” said Jonathan Reilly, senior, international affairs major. Julie Ray, associate dean of First Year Experience, encouraged students to remember where their eternal residency lies.
